The Inspiration has the looks of a typical English Style dressage saddle, but the flexibility and weight of a treeless saddle.
The underside has very thick, flexible panels filled with soft foam, this is full-flexibly and always conforms back to its original shape after use, thus the panels adapt itself when saddling each time to the horses back. With this underside and construction, the “Inspiration” does not touch the horse's spine in any way and it keeps the wither free of uncomfortable pressure. The weight of the rider is distributed as well as it is in a treed saddle, and the shock absorption is better than in a treed or treeless saddle, because the whole saddle flexes

The pommel is reinforced with metal, but the flaps of the saddle flex much more than those of treed saddles in general. That is why the same saddle fits a variety of different horse backs from fairly narrow to wide. As the structure between the pommel and the cantle is flexible, the saddle will adapt under the rider's weight and will follow the contour of the horse's back. When you put the same saddle on a wider horse, the saddle will stay higher up on the horse and will not surround the horse as deeply as on a more narrow horse. A hard-treed saddle cannot do this because its underline has a fixed shape so that it will not fit different types of backs.

Stirrup leathers are fixed by stirrup bars, no rings! making this saddle is much more safe than other treeless saddles.
The saddle has removable kneepads for a steady and long leg, these fix the leg in the correct position.
Because of this special style and cut the Inspiration has a very deep comfortable seat which puts the rider in a classical long, stretched position.
English rigging is used with short dressage length girth.

Made with the best quality German Leather. All parts can be changed and renewed so it will not happen that the saddle cannot be repaired anymore, something which happens with treed saddles that have a broken tree. The ecologically processed leather of Flexible Saddles can be recycled, it is fully biodegradable.
